Terms of Service

By accessing or using INTERMS ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

INTERMS is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace that connects people who have items to rent ("Owners") with people looking to rent those items ("Renters"). INTERMS is not a party to any rental agreement between users and does not own, inspect, or guarantee any listed items.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

Owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including descriptions, pricing, photos, and availability. INTERMS reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms or applicable law. You may not list items that are illegal, stolen, hazardous, or that you do not have the right to rent.

All rental agreements are between the Owner and Renter directly. INTERMS provides tools to facilitate communication and documentation but does not process payments or mediate financial disputes unless a formal dispute is filed through the Platform.

Renters are responsible for returning items in the same condition as received. Owners may require a security deposit at their discretion.

Cancellation policies are set by individual Owners and are displayed on each listing. Users are expected to honour the stated cancellation policy at the time of the rental request.

In the event of a dispute, users should first attempt to resolve the matter directly. If that fails, either party may file a formal dispute through the Platform's dispute resolution system. INTERMS will review disputes and may take action at its sole discretion, but is not obligated to resolve any dispute.

You agree not to: post false or misleading listings; harass or threaten other users; circumvent the Platform to avoid fees or policies; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.

INTERMS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, INTERMS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including any losses related to rental transactions between users.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
